Report of 32nd Annual APMNA Meeting held in San Diego, CA

Annual APMNA  2024 meeting was held at Marriott Marquis Marina hotel in San Diego, CA. It was attended by international delegates from 16 different countries, besides many from different corners of United States.  The scientific program was diverse and included myriad aspects of Psychocutaneous medicine including presentations on Psychotherapy in skin disease, delusion of parasitosis, Trichotillomania, Nail picking, Suicide and stigma in dermatology, various presentations on mental health burden on skin disease, status of psychodermatology in various countries, psychosocial consequences of chronic skin diseases, and psychoneuroimmunology. The meeting was attended by dermatologists, psychiatrists, residents, medical students, mid-level providers and patient organizations. The opening reception was held on March 6 in a local restaurant. An evening gala dinner was held at The Huntress. APMNA Ambassador Awards was given to Prof. Hai Ping Zhang from China for her promoting the cause of psychodermatology in China. Appreciation awards were given to Olivia Katamanin, Shivani Saini, Samantha Hess and Cemre Busra Turk.
